AMBASSADOR WAYNE MEETS WITH AFS-CARGILL SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS

Ambassador Wayne met on July 14 with a group of Argentine students who will be traveling to the United States in August on a year-long scholarship through the American Field Service-Cargill scholarship program. Santiago Valenti from Rosario, Andres Frete from Cordoba, Agustin Aieta from Tres Arroyos, and Irina Spork from Hurlingham will be staying with host families and will attend local high schools during their time in the United States. The students conversed with the Ambassador about their upcoming trip and asked the Ambassador questions about the United States and the Foreign Service. The Ambassador congratulated the students on being selected to participate in this program and encouraged the students to share their culture and knowledge about Argentina with their host families.
